A sweet little beach with sand as fine as sugar

Sugar Beach, whose full name is Playa Pan de Azucar (or Sugar Bread Beach), is situated in its own little cove on the northern most section of Potrero Bay. It is bordered on the north by a shoreline of rocky points that are, as yet, undeveloped and separate this area from the beaches of Playas del Coco and Ocotal farther north. The main attraction at this beach is the Hotel Sugar Beach. This small, secluded stretch of beach is known for it's wonderful white sand and spectacular views  of the small islands off the shoreline.

There is not much development going on here right now, but this could change quickly. This is an area to keep an eye on.
